Here are some pictures of Savannah on her bike. She loves to cruise up & down the street with the neighborhood kids. As you can see, she is quite comfortable on her bike and can even ride one-handed so that she can Signal...or stick her finger up her nose

Chef's Market
Every Friday night during the summer months, downtown Napa holds a great street fair/farmer's market called Chef's Market. We've been taking Savannah quite a bit this year as she really enjoys all the activity. Here are some cute pictures of her having fun with all the people, enjoying the music and taking a breather with Dad from shaking her bones to the Live Music.

Blowing Bubbles
Today was a really windy day & Savannah discoverd that she could "blow" bubbles by simply holding the wand out in the wind. She entertained herself for quite sometime!!

Helmet Head
Savannah recently got a new tricycle with a handle that allows us to push her around. We decided it would be a good idea to get her used to wearing a helmet, but she thought differently! For the first few weeks we couldn't get the helmet near her head, let alone put it on. However, today she decided that her princess helmet was really cool and chose to wear it almost all day long!

Growing Up!
June 11- Savannah is getting so big-- it seems like over the last few weeks she has really grown out of the baby phase & is becoming quite the little lady! She will happily say cheese & poses when she sees the camera-- as you can tell from this picture. She has also become very independent & wants to do everything like Mommy & Daddy--all by herself! She can tell you what a pig & dog say and also show you where her eyes, nose & mouth are. She is so much fun & we enjoy every minute of the day with her!!!

The Gondola Ride
The trip to Italy would not have been complete without a gondola ride in Venice. Here we are on the gondola with our friends Jody & Brian.

Torre dell'Orologio
This is a picture of a clock tower in San Marco Square. The clock was originally built in the 15th century & has been in the process of being repaired and renovated for quite some time. The newly restored tower was revealed while we were in Venice.

The Canals of Venice
We ended our trip in Venice. It is truly amazing that the city exists without any cars or roadways-- just canals & boats. Here are some pictures of the canals.

Lake Toblino
This is Lake Toblino in Trento. We had dinner at Maso Toresella, which is a castle that sits right on Lake Toblino. Like everything else-- it was beautiful!

Pienza
This is the view from our hotel room in Pienza. We stayed in a 14th century monestary! The town of Pienza was my favorite place we visited while in Italy.

Montalcino
This is the town of Montalcino from the top of The Fortified Area, which was basically a fort they used during wars centuries ago. We passed through Montalcino on our way to Pienza, but wish we could haved stayed longer because it was so beautiful.

Turkish Toilets
The restrooms in Italy were a little different. It took us a little while to figure out how to use the Turkish toilets-- but as you can see, we were really excited when we finally got it!

Mitch decided to really get in the Italian spirit by serenading the entire restaurant with his rendition of "Hey Mambo".

The Laffertys
These are our good friends Cole & Lisa. They live in Long Island and were able to come into New York for the day to meet us. We had just finished enjoying a bottle of wine in Central Park in this picture!

Time Square
May 19- Mitch & I recently spent a weekend in New York City & then went on to Italy for a week. Savannah stayed home and enjoyed being spoiled by both sets of Grandparents, who took turns taking care of her. Although we missed Savannah tremendously, we had a fabulous time and are so thankful that Savannah's grandparents could come take care of her! Here's a picture of Mitch & I in Time Square.
