Cowgirl Christmas

December 19- Here is a picture of Savannah in one of her very favorite pairs of shoes in front of the little Christmas tree we got this year.

December 3- Today we took Savannah to see Santa! We have been talking about Santa a lot lately and reading lots of Christmas stories, so she was really excited to say hello to Santa (or "Ho" as she affectionately calls him) and have her picture taken.

Barney

November 14- Savannah has become a huge fan of Barney-- or as she affectionately calls him "Barn". So.... we took her to see Barney live in concert. She was so excited to see Barney in person and had lots of fun dancing & singing along.

November 13- Here is Savannah all suited up in her Ladybug rain gear.

Trick-or-Treat!

October 31- Here is a picture of Tinkerbell getting ready to go trick-or-treating. Savannah had a lot of fun going door to door and quickly got the hang of collecting candy. She got to enjoy one piece of candy-- which she held on to for dear life. Once we finished trick-or-treating, she was quite the Halloween hostess and happily handed candy out to all the little ghosts and goblins that visited our house.

October 19- Savannah is very lucky because her Great-Grandma Poppy likes to knit her lots of pretty things like this poncho & hat!

Playground Fantastico

October 15- Here is a picture of Savannah swinging at her favorite playground. Playground Fantastico has a whole play area dedicated to toddlers. The play structures are just the right size so that the little ones get around all by themselves-- which Savannah loves of course.

Sharing with Daddy

October 15- Once Savannah finished decorating her cookie she was so excited to eat it! We convinced her to let it sit for awhile so the frosting could dry, but everytime she walked by the counter and saw it sitting there she asked for it. She finally got to eat it after dinner and even shared some with Daddy!

The Cookie Monster

October 15- Today Savannah decorated Halloween cookies. She had a lot of fun putting the frosting & sprinkles on her cookie... and in her mouth!

Finger Painting

October 11- Here is a picture of Savannah finger painting with a mixture of cool whip & kool-aid. She wasn't quite sure if she wanted to paint with it or eat it!

Oink, Oink!

October 8- The pumpkin patch has a litter of piglets that are absolutedly adorable. Savannah really enjoyed petting & feeding the little pigs.

The Pumpkin Patch

October 8- Today we went to the pumpkin patch and Savannah had a great time picking out her pumpkin and putting it in the wheelbarrow-- all by herself of course.

Watering the Roses

October 8- This morning Savannah entertained herself for a good half hour by filling up her bucket, then watering the roses with it. She was so proud that she was able to do it all by herself!

Fall is Here!

October 5- Fall arrived in Napa today bringing with it lots of rain and wind! Savannah was going stir crazy after being inside all day, so we suited her up in a cute poncho and let her go play outside during a break in the rain.

Driving the Boat

October 1- Savannah absolutely loved playing inside the boat and pretending to drive. Here is a shot of her playing in the boat with Daddy.

The River

September 30- Savannah took her 1st trip to the river this last weekend to help celebrate Marion Beaver's 90th birthday. She had a lot of fun playing with everyone on the beach. Here are some pictures of her in the water with all the guys and hanging out on the beach with Auntie Georgette & Paige.

Dorothy

September 24- Savannah won her 1st goldfish at the Napa County Fair back in July and much to our surprise it is still alive! We named the fish Dorothy, after Elmo's goldfish. Savannah loves to feed Dorothy and watch her swim around in her bowl.

Hide & Seek

September 24- Savannah had a blast playing hide & seek at the airport in Las Vegas.

Talk, Talk, Talk...

September 24- Savannah absolutely loves to talk on the phone! Whenever she see's Mommy or Daddy talking on the phone, she immediately begins to copy us by putting her hand, the TV remote or anything else she can find that resembles a phone up to her ear.

September 23- Savannah had a lot of fun playing with all the other flower girls-- there were three between 16-20 months! She especially had fun playing with Katie, who was born three days after Savannah. Here are some pictures of the cute twosome!

Las Vegas

September 23- Savannah took her 1st trip to Las Vegas this last weekend to be in Lauren & Scott's wedding-- some friends of the family. Here are some pictures of her in the pool with Daddy & Grandma Debi.

The Naked Gymnast

September 17- Savannah has now learned how to take off her clothes & diaper. She has a ton of fun running all over the house naked whenever she gets the chance. Here she is trying to do a somersault in the buck!

Toothbrush Time

Now that Savannah has several teeth she loves to brush them! When you ask her if she would like to brush her teeth, she quickly runs into the bathroom, climbs up on her step stool and waits patiently to be handed her toothbrush. She diligently brushes her teeth every morning & night-- and whenever else we will let her!
