Sweet Siblings...

When we were taking pictures this morning, Savannah insisted that I take some pictures of Dylan and her together. They were so cute I couldn't resist sharing :)

Savannah's 1st Day of School

September 3- Today was Savannah's first day of preschool (last year she went to "pre-preschool" at the same school). She was very excited this morning and couldn't wait to get out of the house. When we got to school she ran up to one of her teachers, Miss Betty, gave her a big hug and told her how much she missed her all summer. It sure does make it easy to leave her when she loves going to school so much!

Welcome Baby Coral!

August 20- Today Savannah & Dylan's new cousin was born! Auntie Karin & Uncle Kevin welcomed a beautiful baby girl early this morning. Her name is Coral Ella and we can't wait to meet her!!!

Wings Over Wine Country

August 17- Today we took the kids to the airshow in Santa Rosa. It was Dylan's 1st airshow (I am quite sure there are many more in his future) and of course he slept through most of it. Savannah had a lot of fun and says her favorite part was "seeing the jet planes because they were so loud".

Last Day of Summer School

August 15- Today was Savannah's last day of summer school. Her class invited all of the families for a pot luck lunch & little musical concert. All summer long they've been learning songs and today they got to perform them for us-- it was really cute!

August 11- Tonight after dinner Dylan was grabbing on to Savannah and giving her BIG hugs. They were having so much fun-- it was really cute!

The Napa Fair

7 months

August 10- Here is a shot of Dylan on the verge of crawling! He is up on all fours & rocking back and forth-- we know it will anyday now that our baby boy is cruising around the house. He has two teeth (which you can actually see pretty good here) that he has quickly learned to put to good use by eating ANYTHING we put in front of him. He is such a happy little boy full of smiles and giggles!

6 months

July 10- Today Dylan celebrated his 6 month birthday and cut his first tooth! He weighs almost 19 lbs & is almost sitting up by himself. He is growing so quick-- I know it won't be long before our little baby is gone and we'll have a toddler on our hands. I am trying to convince Mitch that a third baby down the road may not be such a bad idea :)

It's a Girl!

July 4th- We spent 4th of July down on the central coast at Mitch's parents' house. Great-Grandpa Jack & Great-Grandma Poppy came all the way from Arizona and we had a Davis/Stone family reunion! During the visit Auntie Jacquelyn & Uncle Jarrid revealed that they are expecting a little girl in November and Savannah was so excited (she really wants a baby sister) that she decided she needed to kiss her new cousin in Auntie's tummy.

Big Sister

June 10- Savannah has become such a good big sister and really loves her little brother, sometimes even a little too much :) I had to go back to work last week (yuck!) and Savannah has been a big helper with Dylan while I've been gone. She is growing up so fast!

5 months

June 10- 5 months already! Dylan weighs a little over 17 lbs and is starting to sit up now. He loves to play in his exersaucer, watch his big sister and splash around in the bath. He is such a happy little boy and we are all enjoying him thoroughly!

Go Lakers!

June 5- Of course Dylan had the perfect bedtime attire last night to properly cheer on the Lakers in Game 1. Unfortunately Dylan's loyalty didn't seem to help the Lakers win the first game... but Daddy reminded him that it is a seven game series and he will have plenty of opportunties over the next week to cheer for the Lakers with Daddy.

Storytime

June 4- This morning Savannah wanted to read Dylan a story-- they looked so cute I had to snap a picture!

Batter Up!

May 26- We went up to spend some time with Israels this weekend and since it is baseball season, both Dylan and Savannah got to attend their first baseball game (cheering on Travis). Baseball is a BIG deal in the Israel household with all the guys & Uncle Steve and all the boys are already planning out Dylan's baseball career.

Savannah also enjoyed herself at the baseball game-- Uncle Steve bought her a GIANT Red Rope licorice that was literally longer than her.
