Check Out the Tongues!

Here are Savannah & Daddy happily watching Baby Einstein. Their tongues sticking out of the right sides of their mouths (identically) are a good indication that they are thoroughly enjoying the show!

Getting Ready with Mommy

So this is where Savannah has been spending her time lately in the morning while Mommy dries her hair. She surrounds herself with all sorts of great things to play with and sits in the sink happily while Mom gets ready!

Feeding the Ducks

Today we took Savannah to feed the ducks. There were some very aggressive geese and Savannah wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I think she enjoyed eating the bread more than the ducks & geese!

Grandma Debi & Savannah

Grandma Debi recently came to visit for a couple of days. Savannah had a lot of fun hanging out and playing with her Grandma, we just wish she lived closer so we could see her more often!

Up, Up and Away

Savannah started pulling herself up right after Christmas. Since then she pulls herself up on anything and everything she can find. One of her favorite places to stand and play is in the fridge!

Pickup Pete

January 9-This is one of Savannah's Xmas presents that she loves. Mitch & I have started to refer to it as "Pickup Pete" and as you can see Savannah has definitely gotten the hang of riding on him!

Savannah & Daddy

Savannah is so lucky to have such a GREAT Daddy! Kandice has had to travel a bit in the last few months for work and Mitch has done a great job taking care of Savannah all by himself while she was gone.

Swing, Swing!

January 21- Savannah loves to go to the park! We're very fortunate to live a block away from a great park and she loves being around all the other kids & swinging. Even though it has been pretty cold in Napa this winter, we've still been able to take frequent walks to the park thanks to this snuggly outfit Grandma Pam got her for X-Mas.

Wiping Up!

January 23-Savannah discovered toilet paper recently and has a lot of fun unraveling the entire roll by grabbing hold and crawling all over the house with it. Thank goodness we buy in bulk at Costco!

The Davis Tongue

When Savannah was about 7 months old she began curling her tongue up like this whenever she's playing intensely or concentrating. It might not seem very extraordinary, but what amazes Mommy about it is that Daddy, Grandpa Dell and Great-Grandad Del all do the exact same thing!!

Savannah & Her Nose

January 29-Savannah discovered her nose about 2 months ago and since then it has been the object of constant exploration! As you can see she loves to stick her finger up there as far as she possibly can-- we're hoping this phase will pass soon :)
