Guitar Hero

March 3- Mitch got a Wii for Christmas and has since developed a new obsession... Guitar Hero. Savannah thinks it is really fun to watch Daddy play and will occasionally grab her key-tar to play along. Pretty Cute!

Having Fun!

February 28- Here is a cute picture of Savannah having a good time with her Auntie & Uncle. She was so excited to have some visitors at her house.

The Little Chef

February 28- While Uncle Kevin was here he cooked us a wonderful meal with the help of his little sous chef Savannah. As you can see she had a great time helping Uncle Kevin in the kitchen.

February 28- Uncle Kevin & Auntie KK came to vist and meet Dylan this week. We have all been trying to figure out who Dylan looks like-- from this picture he may look like Uncle Kevin the most!

Splish Splash!

February 24- This is Savannah and Dylan taking their first bath together. Savannah was so excited to take a bath with her brother and would have crawled in the little blue tub with Dylan if there was any room.

February 16- In the last few days Dylan has really started smiling. I've been trying catch it on camera and this is the best I've got so far. He's getting cuter everyday!

Happy Valentine's Day!

5 weeks old

February 14- Here is a picture of Dylan at 5 weeks old. He is still a pretty happy guy-- we have discovered that he does have lungs, but he only uses them when he is hungry or needs to be burped for the most part. He is beginning to smile & starting to coo & talk more everyday.

3 weeks

February 3- Here is a shot of Dylan a little over 3 weeks. He looks a little scary because his eyes are so big-- but at least they're open!

Bedtime Bear

February 3- Savannah still has a severe obsession with Care Bears and was able to con her Gigi into buying her Bedtime Bear this week-- although I don't think it was very hard for Savannah to convince Gigi she needed Bedtime Bear.

Gigi

February 3- Gigi came to visit and meet Dylan this last week. She spent the whole week with us and helped out while Mitch was out of town a couple of days. Here is a picture of Dylan & Savannah cuddling with Gigi.

Snoozing

January 27- Here is Dylan all snuggled up & sleeping soundly in the corner of his Daddy's arm. He is almost 3 weeks old now and still pretty mellow & happy-- despite the yucky cold he caught from his big sister. He weighs 8lbs 3 oz now & is changing more everyday!

Slumber Party

January 17- Savannah is doing such a good job being a big sister and absolutley loves Dylan. She likes to help out with everything and includes him in as much as possible. Here they are getting ready for stories before bedtime in Savannah's bed. She would have loved for him to sleep in her bed all night, but settled for sharing her blankie & a story.

1 week old

January 17- Here is Dylan at one week. He is doing really well & is already back up over his birth weight. I tried to get a shot of him with his eyes open, but it was a little difficult! This is the best I could do.

3 Days Old

January 13- Here is shot of Dylan after 3 days of being in the world. He is a pretty quiet baby so far, only excercising his lungs when he is hungry or needs changing. We are all enjoying getting to know him!

January13- Here is a picture of the VERY proud & excited big sister. Savannah loves her little brother and has been a great helper so far!

Dylan Mitchell Davis

January 10- Dylan arrived on his due date (January 10) after a VERY quick labor & delivery. He weighed in at 7lbs 2 0z and was 20 inches long. We are home and doing well & so far he is a pretty mellow little guy-- which Mommy & Daddy are very thankful for!

Monkey Jamas

December 26- When I asked Savannah what she wanted to get Daddy for Christmas this year, she answered very certainly, "Monkey jamas and Spider man fruit snacks". So that's what we got him (along with a ceramic wine glass she painted for him because "My Daddy like wine"). She was so excited for us all to wear our "monkey jamas" together--Savannah & I both already had a pair. Here is a cute picture of Mitch & Savannah cuddling in their p.j.'s together.

D-O-R-O-T-H-Y

December 25- Savannah received a costume box from Mommy & Daddy for Christmas filled with all sorts of fun dress up clothes. She had a blast opening up all the costumes and trying them all on Christmas morning. Her favorite costume is without a doubt Dorothy the Dinosaur from the Wiggles. Once she opened this costume she had no interest in trying on any of the others and has pretty much had it on non-stop since Christmas. When she is in her Dorothy costume she insists that we refer to her as "Dorothy"and is constantly singing the Dorothy song from the Wiggles TV show. This isn't the best shot of her dressed as Dorothy, but you get the idea.

Gifts from Santa

December 25- Savannah received a giant Princess tent & Oopsy Bear from Santa. She was so excited to discover both of these gifts on Christmas morning and has had lots of fun playing with both.

Christmas 2007

December 24- Here is a picture of our family room once Santa had visited. It is safe to say that Savannah had more gifts than any child ever needs-- but she also had the Christmas spirit and had so much fun preparing for Santa to come to her house! She very diligently made sure that both Santa and his reindeer had plenty of refreshments (cookies, carrots, milk) along with all the necessary amenities to enjoy them (napkins, towels to cover the snacks so her kitties didn't try and eat them). She even left one of her Christmas Care Bears out to keep Santa company.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

December 15- Today we went to visit Santa. Once again, Savannah was thrilled to climb up on Santa's lap and have her picture taken. This year, she enthusiastically told Santa she wants a big Oopsy Bear (Care Bear) for Christmas. She has also started calling the big guy Santa vs. last year's Ho.

36 weeks

December 13- Well here is another shot of my pregnant belly in all of its glory. It is hard to believe I potentially have another 4 weeks-- I am not sure how much more my tummy can stretch!

Gingerbread House

December 13- Tonight Savannah made a gingerbread house. I am not sure if she had more fun making the house or eating all the candy, but either way she is very proud of her creation!

Gobble, Gobble, Gobble

November 19- Here is a picture of the very first Thanksgiving turkey that Mitch & I made this year. This particular bird is made entirely of fruit, cheese & bell pepper and will be heading off to Savannah's school for snack time tomorrow.

30 Weeks

November 3- Here is a picture of my ever growing belly. I am definitely bigger with this pregnancy-- I am measuring about 2 weeks ahead and have been asked numerous times if I am having twins!!!

Trick-or-Treaters

October 31- Here is a picture of all the kids from our neighborhood that went trick-or-treating together.

Bedtime Bear & Grumpy Bear

October 31- When Savannah woke up from her nap on Halloween day, she insisted that Daddy told her he was going to dress up as Grumpy Bear. Here are some shots of the two Care Bears in Mitch's last minute improvised costume.

Halloween

October 31- Here are some pictures of Bedtime Bear on Halloween. Savannah had great time trick-or-treating and handing out candy to all the kids that visited our house.

Strawberry Shortcake

October 27- We had a Halloween party to go to tonight and Savannah dressed as "vintage" Strawberry Shortcake. This costume was actually made by Pommy (Grandma Pam) 25 years ago for Savannah's Auntie Jacquelyn!

Pumpkin Patch

October 7- Today we made our annual trip to Stanley Lane, our local pumkin patch. They always have animals, hay mazes and lots of other fun activities that Savannah enjoys.

Here We are!

October 7- Here is Savannah at the top of the haystack at the Pumpkin Patch. She is proudly imitating Emily Yeung (one of her favorite T.V. characters), who raises who arms and proclaims "Here we are!" at the beginning of every show.

25 weeks

September 25- Here are some pictures of me and my growing belly at about 25 weeks. Savannah loves to pull up my shirt so she can kiss & hug my tummy :)

Going for a Bike Ride

September 7- Mitch recently got a new bike for his birthday to cruise around town. Here is a shot of he and Savannah ready for the maiden voyage to go pick up some dinner downtown.

You Can't See Me!!!

September 6- This is what the baby did during most of the sonogram-- those are its arms crossed right in front of its face :)

Say Hello to Baby #2...

September 6- Here is the best picture we got-- you can see most of the face and its little hand up on the right side. We could actually see the baby suckling during the sonogram too!

Baby Davis #2

September 6- Well here are few shots of baby #2 (due January 10) from our recent sonogram. The baby really didn't want us to get a good look at its face and kept putting its hands up. You can see its little arm going right across the face and a little bit of the cute little nose and mouth. The baby weighs about 1lb 10oz right now and everything looks great! For those of you who don't know-- we aren't finding out the sex, so you'll have to wait until January to see if Savannah gets a little brother or sister!

Piano Lessons

August 23- This afternoon we discovered Savannah in her toy room showing both Minnie & Marie (her kittie from the Aristocats) how to play her electronic keyboard. It was pretty cute!

Off to School!

August 23- Today was Savannah's first day of pre-school. She was so excited to go and didn't care one bit when Mommy & Daddy left. Here is a picture of her all ready to go, with her Minnie Mouse doll (her latest obession).

August 22- Savannah is all ready to go for a swim in her bathtub!

Reading to her Babies

July 21- Here is a cute shot of Savannah reading her Dora pillow book to her babies so they could go night-night. She is wearing a hat that her Pommy & Papa got her from Savannah, Georgia. She calls it her "cowboy hat" and will wear it for days at a time!
